Even though the Corona crisis means that no one in the hospitality industry feels like celebrating: GASTROFIX by Lightspeed is very pleased to receive a special award. For the first time, the company was awarded the coveted Star Award by the industry magazine Top hotel for its iPad POS system. And in gold right away!
Readers have voted
Traditionally, the jury, which nominates three prize winners per category from all entries, this year again consisted of the experienced editors of Top hotel and Hotel+Technik. Gold, silver and bronze, however, were decided by the readers. The Star Award is therefore a genuine audience award.
Reference customers also make recommendations
During the application phase for the Star Award, reference customers of the various applicants were also interviewed. In the case of GASTROFIX by Lightspeed, these were successful gastronome René “Redo” Dost and Carsten im Brahm, managing director of Road Stop GmbH. Im Brahm said about the successful iPad POS system:

GASTROFIX by Lightspeed received this high distinction at a very special time: the ongoing corona pandemic continues to keep the hospitality industry on tenterhooks. Nevertheless, the entire team of GASTROFIX by Lightspeed is very happy about the Star Award. Stefan Brehm, head of marketing of the company, comments:
Actually, the industry prize should have been awarded at the Internorga 2020. However, as is well known, the leading trade fair had to be cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. GASTROFIX by Lightspeed is currently offering its customers a free digital package to help them through the crisis.
