What a pleasant surprise on the eve of Internorga. GASTROFIX was awarded the coveted “BEST of Market” reader prize at a festive gala on 8 March. The POS system prevailed in the category “Digitization – Product” and is therefore, according to the organizer B&L MedienGesellschaft, one of the best on the market in 2018.

Readers vote for GASTROFIX in the digitization category

The annual trophies, which are highly coveted in the industry, were awarded for the eighth time. The victory of GASTROFIX was a first. “We are very pleased, above all because it is a prize of the readers. Internorga couldn’t have started better for us,” says Marketing Manager Stephanie Deissner. She accepted the award together with Social Media Manager Lisa Kretz and Sales Director Volker Niemczyk.

The readers of the trade magazines first class, GVmanager, 24 Stunden Gastlichkeit and street food business have voted. They are all published by B&L MedienGesellschaft in Munich.

Confirmation of continuous further development

“This award also recognizes the hard work in the form of the continuous further development of our POS system,” explains Sales Director Volker Niemczyk. “Therefore, each and every one of our now more than 130 employees has its share in this.”

GASTROFIX is gaining more and more fans, especially among hoteliers and restaurateurs. After all, the iPad POS system from Berlin is one of the most successful in Europe. The special feature is the multi-compatibility, meanwhile more than 100 company-relevant programs can be linked to the GASTROFIX system.

Within the framework of this 360-degree strategy, the cash register becomes the central nervous system of every business, which is thus optimally prepared for all challenges of digitization.

About the award

BEST of MarketAccording to the organiser, the “BEST of Market” award is based on the results of an online reader survey on products and concepts from industrial partners in the out-of-home market. In the first part, the anonymous participants were assigned to the respective trade magazines and asked about criteria that influence their investment behaviour.

In the main part, a total of 118 products and concepts were evaluated in several categories. The online survey was conducted among decision-makers from the hotel, gastronomy, street food and communal catering sectors.
