Advantages versus classical cash-registers
There is no longer a need to invest in software to centralize data storage, nor is it necessary to maintain and automate data transactions into a central repository. All transactions (orders, payments, sales per table, server reports) are available in your cloud-based Back Office. Even the classical central PC is no longer required because you can access your reports from any PC, Mac or tablet.
One of the major challenges for small and medium sized chains has been that classical cash-registers and PC-based POS solutions have involved a sizeable capital investment since each one of these registers has been designed as a stand-alone unit. Thus centralized data repositories and management have been difficult and/or costly since it involved the implementation of third party applications. In contrast, since GASTROFIX is a cloud and App based solution, full multi-unit and centralized branch management is naturally achieved by our infrastructure.
